3 Simple Ways to Increase Traffic to Your Website

When it's done right, internet marketing and network marketing can go hand in hand to explode your business--internet network marketing. Unfortunately, many network marketers don't know much about marketing and know even less about the internet and how to get traffic to a website.

Here are 3 simple ways to increase traffic to your website.

#1 Comment on forums. Find forums and online communities built around your niche. Join and make valuable comments. Simply provide insights that other people will find useful. If they like what you have to say, they'll click on the link in your signature and check out what you have to offer on your website.

A word of caution: don't use forums and online communities to pitch your opportunity. That's a surefire way to annoy people and quickly get banned from the forum.

#2 Press Releases. Submitting press releases is another simple way to get traffic to your website. A press release is not an ad. Rather, it lets people know what your website has to offer. You can pay and submit a press release, or you can find services that will allow you to submit your press release for free.

#3 Videos. Videos are a popular tool for getting traffic to your website. Many people would rather watch a video than read an article. By putting great content in video form, you increase the number of people who will see it.

Again, don't use your video to pitch your opportunity. Instead, offer quality content, and people are more likely to visit your website.

AdBrite, AdSense Or Bidvertiser - Which is Better?

By Shashikant Yadav

Lets take a look on each of the ads provider one-by-one.

ADBRITE
AdBrite offers a way for publishers to convert their site's traffic into advertising offers. By posting "Your Ad Here" spaces on their sites, publishers can link site visitors to the advertising opportunities that they are currently offering and therefore generate more interest in the site's ad spaces than would have been possible through only AdBrite's marketplace.

AdBrite also allows publishers to set their own ad rates and to approve and reject ad offers, giving them more power over what goes on their site and for what price than many other networks allow. With 450 million impressions per day on 75,578 sites and numerous advertising and customization options, AdBrite is a large network that offers flexible and innovative ways for publishers to monetize their ad spaces.

Features
1. Customize ads to match your site
2. Approve and Reject ads
3. Works alongside with other ad programs.
4. Text ads
5. Banners
6. Inline ads
7. Full Page
8. InVideo
9. BritePic ie ads in photographs too
10. Support non english sites
11. Referral Program

Payment
AdBrite gives its publishers 70% of the revenues generated from their ad spaces and keeps 30%. Payments are made to publishers by checks in U.S. dollars, and the minimum payment amount is $5, although users must change the default $100 minimum in order to receive checks this small. Earnings under the minimum amount roll over into the next month. AdBrite pays at the end of each month for a publisher's earnings in the month two months prior; for example, revenues made in July will be paid out at the end of September.

Summary
AdBrite offers its users unique ways of advertising and is both easy to use and reliable. It is compatible with other services and can be customized to match a publisher's site theme. The InVideo and BritePic features are particularly attractive, especially for publishers with a lot of multimedia content. Overall, this network is a good alternative for publishers who wish to monetize their sites, especially if they feel that they could easily sell ad spaces to their visitors through on-site ads.

GOOGLE ADSENSE
One of the most well-known and popular advertising networks on the internet, Google's AdSense offers its users a way to monetize their sites through both ad links and the Google search feature. Its main draw is that the advertisements it offers are targeted to fit the content of the page on which they appear and the search terms that are entered into the search field.

This means that the advertisements it displays are more relevant to the content of the site on which they are posted, and therefore more likely to be clicked by visitors to that site. This is a major innovation in advertising and still fairly uncommon among ad networks, and has proven much more effective at earning money for site owners than untargeted advertisements.

In addition, AdSense provides a variety of ways to customize both the ads' appearance and the way in which their value is reported, making it a very comprehensive and straightforward provider of relevant advertisements.

Features
1. Text ads
2. Search Box monetization
3. Automatically customize ads to suite your site
4. Banner

Payment
Receiving payments from this network is fairly simple. AdSense offers both EFT and mailed checks in the user's specified local currency. When a site owner's ad revenue reaches $100 or greater, a payment will be issued to that owner within 30 days of the end of that month. If revenues do not reach $100, the account balance is rolled over to the next month and does not expire.

While Google has not revealed the exact figure or share that the publisher gets, but according to The New York Times, however, calculated from Google's published financial reports that AdSense partners receive 78.5% of the profits that Google makes off of their ad space.

Well its a good news for the publishers there.

Summary
AdSense is a very user friendly ad network that is simple to set up and run for even new site owners. Its targeted advertising makes it more likely that the posted advertisements will appeal to site viewers, and the Google search feature allows site owners to keep viewers on their site longer and also lets them receive revenue for clicked searches.

Reports are customizable so that Adsense users can view and maximize their profits, and receiving payments from AdSense is simple for most people with a major bank account.

Overall, AdSense seems to be a very simple and flexible advertising network.

BIDVERTISER
Bidvertiser burst onto the CPC ad network scene by trying to differentiate itself from the many other contextual networks available. Their innovative business model was, and still is today, to sell their publisher's ads to the highest advertising bidder on a price-per-click basis.

As such, advertisers bid against each other for a publisher's ad space, with the highest bidders always getting displayed on the publisher's website.

Features
1. Completely Customizable ads
2. Extremely low minimum payout of $10
3. 3rd-generation bidding-based system
4. Ads for RSS Feeds
5. Referral Program

Payment
Bidvertiser pays in monthly installments on Net-15 Payment terms, and offers one of the lowest minimum payouts in the industry at only $10. However the $10 minimum payout is for PayPal withdrawals only. In addition to PayPal, Bidvertiser can also pay by check, but the minimum payment for check is $50.

Summary
Bidvertiser excels in every area such as their great control panel and superb level of ad customization. Their greatest feature is arguably their payment options, offering payment via PayPal as well as an incredibly low minimum payment of $10.

Unfortunately, Bidvertiser's targeting is not as powerful as other contextual networks such as AdSense, resulting in poorer conversion rates. In addition, Bidvertiser's smaller network of advertisers leaves the competition not as strong as their Google counterpart.

However, despite their lower payouts, Bidvertiser is still a great company and useful for publishers seeking low minimum payments, custom ad sizes, or simply an alternative to AdSense.

Which is better Adbrite, Adsense or Bidvertiser ?
After reviewing all of the three ad providers you will yourself find that AdSense is not the world's end. Adbrite being the best option in all the categories payments, support and the number of advertisers available whereas AdSense excels in the number of advertisers available and the last one being Bidvertiser which is also a good option but not as good as Adbrite or AdSense.

As an Added bonus after Google Crawls your site they give you feedback about any problems they encountered. To take advantage of this amazing service from yahoo just follow these 4 simple steps.

Step 1 Get a Google Site Map Account

In order to create a Google Sitemap account just cut and paste the below URL in your browser and follow the simple directions

https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login)

Step 2 Create Your Site map

You can create your Sitemap either as an XML file or a TXT file. XML is the PPreferred method since you can give Google more information about your Web Site. You do not need to know XML to create a Google Sitemap. Not with this free web based tool. Simply go to the below web site type in your domain and it will automatically spider your site and create a Google Site Map for you. http://www.sitemapspal.com/

If You prefer to use a text file simply following the below direction taken directly from the Google Help File (https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/other.html)

Google accepts simple text files that list URLs. As the text files contain only a list of URLs, Google prefers that you use the Sitemap protocol so you can provide additional information about your URLs. The text file must follow these guidelines:

  • The text file must have one URL per line. The URLs cannot contain embedded new lines.
  • You must fully specify URLs as Google attempts to crawl them exactly as provided.
  • Each text file can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs. If you site includes more than 50,000 URLs, you can separate the list into multiple text files and submit each one separately.
  • The text file must use UTF-8 encoding. You can specify this when you save the file (for instance, in Notepad, this is listed in the Encoding menu of the Save As dialog box).
  • The text file should contain no information other than the list of URLs.
  • The text file should contain no header or footer information.
  • You can name the text file anything you wish. Google recommends giving the file a .text extension to identify it as a text file (for instance, sitemap.txt).
  • You should upload the text file to the highest-level directory you want search engines to crawl and make sure that you don't list URLs in the text file that are located in a higher-level directory.

Step 3 Upload your Site Map File To Your Web Page

Once you have created an XML or TXT Sitemap using the instructions in Step 2 you would just upload it to your web page either by FTP or by using the Cpanel from your Web Host.

    Step 4 Tell Google

The last step in this process is to tell Google about your Sitemap. You simply Log In to your Google site map account and add the URL of you Site Map. Be sure and check back a few hours later to make sure it uploaded correctly. https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login

Now be sure and repeat the above 4 Steps whenever you change your website

    Bonus Step 5

After Google has read your Sitemap and crawled your site (usually 12-24 Hours) you will see a verify link next to your Sitemap name. Click the link and Google will instruct you to create a blank file and place it on your Web Page, Once you have done that Google will tell you any problems it encountered crawling your Page.

How to Increase Your AdSense Performance

If your struggling to earn any money from Google AdSense then your probably not getting enough traffic. Traffic is everything, the more traffic the more clicks. This is the general rule when earning money from AdSense, but how do you make your CTR increase by 5-10% or earn $1 from every click instead of 20c?

There are a few easy ways you can achieve much better results with AdSense.

    1. Use channels to manage your results of different websites or pages. This helps to find which pages are getting the most clicks, CTR, Impressions and how much per click. Channels are used to make your ads more effective.

    2. Use rectangle ad boxes instead of long thin ones if possible. It has been proven to have better results. There is a scientific reason but all you need to know is that they perform better.
    we

    3. Customize your ads to either make them stand out or blend in. Placement of your ads affects their performance as well, if no one can see the ads they won't get clicked.

    4. Sign into AdWords and pretend to make an ad to match one that would be showed on your pages and see how much the CPC is. You want to make sure the CPC is as high as possible. Use keywords in your website that have a high CPC.

    5. Write quality content. Google doesn't like websites purely built to make money off AdSense. If you just have a bunch of keywords your website will not get as much per click. Remember this, if your website is good and has useful info you will get more per click.

Those are the five things you can do to get better AdSense results.

The Money Really is in the List - Be Smart and Build Yours

    By Willfred DeMarro
You've heard it said time and again that: The Money is in the List. Well space does not permit a debate here so I'll cut to the chase and say... It's true. It's true both offline and online. So what's it got to do with anything?

Well, for one, it means if you are to succeed online you need a targeted opt in list. I am not saying that you can't succeed without one. Of course you will make some money but I can assure you it is not the smart way by any stretch of any savvy internet marketers' imagination.

It is well known that whatever you are selling, for whatever amount; you need traffic - people who are interested in buying what you have to sell. Suffice to say that without traffic you will simply be spending money maintaining your website - hosting fees and auto responder.
So I say all that to say this: you need a list. One main benefit is that it will save you searching for new traffic for your website. With your own list you can sell to them repeatedly.

Let me just add here that you may have a great copy or website but it has been clearly shown that it takes over 7 exposures to your website before people make a purchase.
Clearly, if you are depending on that first visit to result in a purchase you could be waiting an awfully long time. The effect being that you then have to rely on getting lots and lots of fresh traffic to your site for any meaningful profit. You will have to get through a lot of traffic for anything meaningful to happen.

Just imagine if out of every 1000 you send to your website, 2% (20) make a purchase, what do you do with the 980 who did not buy? You need a system in place to obtain their details for follow up.

Lets say you did have such a system and 600 sign up. You are now in a very good position to send reminder emails to this number and build a relationship with them.
Once you build some trust with them, there is a greater possibility that with time they will buy from you. You certainly would have been unable to do that without a list.

Imagine if another 20 of the 600 then make a purchase, same amount of traffic; double purchase. Is having a list now important to you?

The Money is in the List now Build Yours.
